Self healing: looking behind the diagnosis

A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis, an autoimmune disease where antibodies get confused and start attacking the thyroid gland.  As time passes, this reduces the ability for the thyroid to function properly and even alters its structure.

When the doctor presented me with this diagnosis, I couldn't believe I had to face another serious disease, again (post on my health history coming soon). According to Western medicine, there is no existing treatment that can cure Hashimoto's.
